I moved out here to work for KEVIN and BEAN (on the KROQ Morning show/who i love and worked with for years - thanks guys for moving me here!!!) and they always told me i will probably I would end up with someone that will make me laugh. You guys were right! I've had enough of the rockstars. HELL NO. IF you see me with one on please give me a good punch me in the face.) I love laughing, and that's damn good since I laugh ALL THE TIME. If you know me in person - - not just virally (wow that sounds kinda x-rated .. haha) i'm sure you can find me in a crowd or a rock club by listening for the laugh. it's anoyying, it's uncalled for, it's always there i can't stop it, but it's here to stay.
hell ya. and if you want to hear the best thing i think that I ever was a part of on KROQ - - - it has to do with myself, Gary Coleman, and backgammon. I'll post it sometime next week. comment if you want to hear it - - i want to get some TYLER SHIELDScomment style action on here!!! Lets bring it!!

Yep. I've been a bad blogger. I slack so f-ing bad as a blogger - I should go to blogger detention. Anyways, I do have a bunch of excuses I could throw at you on why I've been absent, like - my dog ate my homework yada yada, but I'd rather cut to the chase and tell you what's happening now.
Hell Ya! nights in the next few months are going to be JAM PACKED full of action. Including a huge addition - my former employer - the world famous KROQ is Presenting the next 2 Hell Ya! Nights! WOAH WTF THAT IS HUGE RIGHT?!??! Can I get a Hell Ya!? I'm stoked! They are giving away tix, Kat is playing the local band action on air on Locals Only, etc. .....

SO here is the first installment of KROQ Locals Only Presents HELL YA! @ The Echo! Yep. Be there. Hazelden, Shwayze, Cisco, Pittsburgh Slim - Lisa (from America's Next Top Model! Yeah I watch that show!) what more do you need? It's $5 for everybody, 18+ and of course Hell Ya! Deejays spinning between sets. There might even be a surprise performance, who knows! Tell your friends.

A change is in the air. The current state of the music biz is so exciting. I thought Hell would freeze over sooner than have KROQ playing songs that are still featured on cool music blogs. (not to mention my HELL YA! mixes)
Kroq is already playing Silversun Pickups, Cold War Kids, Mickey Avalon, TV On The Radio, Modest Mouse, The Shins & the Kooks. Now they just added PETER BJORN & JOHN "Young Folks"!!!! The Whistling Song!!!! YAAAAAAY!!!! Why couldn't they have been like this when I worked there?
